Overview

The most popular desert experience in Dubai. Dune bashing, camel ride, henna, belly dance, Tanoura and fire shows — all with private 4x4 pickup from your door.

Your evening begins with a private 4×4 pickup from your hotel or home in Dubai or Sharjah. The road south from the city gives way to the red sand dunes of Lahbab, where your driver takes you on a dune bashing session with a photo stop at the summit.

At the Bedouin-style desert camp you are welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates. The evening programme includes a camel ride, sand boarding, and henna tattoos for ladies. After sunset the entertainment begins: three belly dance shows, a mesmerising Tanoura performance, and two fire shows — one over the dune and one on stage.

From 7:00 PM, feast on an unlimited BBQ buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Unlimited water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are served throughout. Free shisha is available from 7:30 PM. Drop-off is between 9:00 and 9:30 PM.

What should I wear for the desert safari?

Comfortable, loose clothing works best. Avoid tight formal wear. Closed shoes are preferred as the sand gets hot. In winter (November to March) bring a light jacket for the evening.

Is dune bashing safe?

Yes. Our drivers are experienced, licensed desert guides. Seat belts are worn throughout. It is not recommended for pregnant women or people with serious back, neck, or heart conditions.

Is vegetarian food available?

Yes. The BBQ buffet includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Let us know at booking if you have specific dietary needs.

What is the exact pickup time?

Pickup is between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM depending on your location in Dubai or Sharjah. The exact time will be confirmed the evening before your safari.

Can children join?

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome. Dune bashing is not recommended for children under 5 or those prone to motion sickness. All camp activities — camel ride, entertainment, and food — are family friendly.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour date are fully refunded. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Please contact us as soon as possible if plans change.
