When Should You Visit Dubai?
Dubai is genuinely a year-round destination, but some months are far better than others for outdoor activities, desert safaris and city sightseeing. The short answer: November to April is the golden window. Here is a full breakdown.
November to February: Peak Season
This is the best time to visit Dubai. Daytime temperatures hover between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius, evenings are cool and crisp, and rainfall is minimal. It is perfect weather for desert safaris, outdoor dining and exploring the city on foot.
March to April: Shoulder Season
Temperatures begin to climb into the low 30s, but it remains comfortable for most activities. This is still a great time to visit, with smaller crowds and slightly lower hotel prices than the peak months.
May to September: Summer
Summer in Dubai is intense, with temperatures regularly exceeding 40 degrees Celsius and high humidity. Outdoor activities become uncomfortable during the day. However, indoor attractions, malls and restaurants are excellent, and hotel prices drop significantly. Desert safaris move to early morning to avoid the heat.
October: Transitional Month
October sees temperatures beginning to fall back to comfortable levels, particularly in the evenings. By late October, outdoor activities are enjoyable again. This is an underrated time to visit.
